課程概述 |
在傳統中國，被視為聖人之所出的夏、商、周三代，成為秦漢以下的理想典範，歷代不少帝王經常透過各種方式復興三代典型，將自己塑造成聖賢的繼承者，為統治尋找權威性的思想根源。在這過程中，三代典範進一步被賦予意義，成為象徵性極強的政治符碼。三代典範的形成以及歷朝各代的復興與挪用，成為中國傳統文化的一大特徵，從漢代至民國不絕。在一波波的再興中，具體可見的三代「禮儀」與「禮器」成為焦點，統治者透過禮儀或建築的重構，建立起當代與三代之間的連結。本課程從「三代」文物出發，考察它們在後代如何被挪用，並分析其政治象徵與意義的論述過程。 |

課程目標 |
1. 對中國歷代禮儀器用與禮書有基本認識。
2. 運用物質遺存進行研究，包括博物館傳世品、考古出土文物與都城建築遺存。
3. 從「物」出發，思考歷史上的政治論述與歷史書寫。

課程要求 |
1. 課堂參與：每週上課前完成指定閱讀，參與課堂討論與口頭報告。
2. 期末報告：第十週決定題目，十八週繳交書面報告，大學部6000字左右，研究所10000-12000字（含註腳）。
